The Opportunity
EY is seeking an Analyst / Associate Consultant to join our Risk Advisory team. You will work on diverse Cyber Transformation projects for global clients. A key aspect of your role involves delivering high-quality work products in line with firm guidelines. You will be expected to establish and maintain strong relationships with team members, and to proactively report identified risks, issues, and updates to senior members.
Your Key Responsibilities
Client Responsibilities:
- Execute deliverables for Cyber Transformation projects.
- Collaborate effectively within a team, sharing responsibilities, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress.
- Assist in preparing reports and schedules for clients and other stakeholders.
- Apply an application and solution-based approach to problem-solving.
- Review working papers and client folders, suggesting improvements to engagement productivity and client service opportunities.
- Manage engagement budgets and support superiors in developing marketing collateral, business proposals, and new solution/methodology development.
- Be willing to travel to customer locations as needed.
People Responsibilities:

- Foster teamwork by supporting colleagues.
Skills and Attributes for Success
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, OSI layer concepts, networking, and security principles.
- Understanding of OS (Windows/Linux) security, and database security.
- Knowledge of cyber/information security concepts, risk, and controls.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure components (switches, routers, firewalls, IDS, IPS, etc.).
- Understanding of architectures.
- Knowledge of cyber threats and vulnerabilities related to platforms and infrastructure is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of encryption.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with standards like ISO 27001/2, ISO 22301, ISO 27018, PCI-DSS, NIST standards on Cyber Security, HITRUST, etc., is a plus.
- Experience with tools such as Nessus, Backtrack, NMAP, BurpSuite, etc., is a definite plus.
To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have:
- Graduates / BE - B. Tech / MCA / M. Sc. (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science) / MBA with a background in computer science and programming, and 0-4 years of experience.
- Relevant certifications such as CEH, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, and Lead Implementer.
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
- Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- High flexibility, adaptability, and creativity.
- Comfort in interacting with senior executives (within the firm and at the client).
- Strong leadership skills and supervisory responsibility.
