About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Application Developer for our Consumer Banking Group Technology team. This role is pivotal in enabling a nimble and resilient infrastructure through strategic focus on productivity, quality, control, technology, people capability, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Craft high-quality frontend applications using React (v17-19), leveraging Functional Components, Hooks, Design Patterns, and Modern Architecture.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), SOLID Principles, and Clean Code Practices to build scalable enterprise web apps.
• Implement Micro Frontend architecture using Module Federation for independent deployment strategies.
• Optimize UI performance via techniques like Lazy Loading, Code Splitting, Bundle Optimization, and Web Vitals monitoring.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Gemini CLI, Claude Code) to enhance engineering productivity, code quality, and refactoring capabilities while adhering to responsible AI practices.
• Manage state efficiently using Redux, Zustand, or Context API within SPA/SSR architectures.
• Cultivate a robust testing culture with TDD principles using Jest, Playwright, and React Testing Library.
• Navigate CI/CD pipelines utilizing Git, Jenkins, Nginx/Apache/OpenShift hosting environments, and observability tools like ELK/AppDynamics.

Requirements:

• Possess a minimum of 4+ years of hands-on experience in frontend software development with expertise in building scalable enterprise applications.
• Demonstrate prior work experience within Banking, FinTech, or high-volume transaction processing environments.
• Show passion for DevOps integration, including CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
