Assoc Systems Engineer

Role Overview: The Associate Systems Engineer plays a crucial role in implementing, configuring, and contributing to the design of moderately complex systems for both internal and external customers. You will be involved in analyzing existing systems, performing overall system maintenance, and defining system specifications, including hardware/software compatibility and input/output processes. Coordination of subsystem design and total system integration is key, as is the identification, analysis, and resolution of program support deficiencies, with a focus on developing recommended corrective actions.

A Day in the Life: Your typical day will involve engineering and configuring technical solutions for application/system implementations and upgrades, based on business requirements. You'll participate in architecting moderately complex solutions, whether in-house, third-party, or hybrid. Daily system administration and monitoring tasks for assigned systems are essential, as is collaborating with internal and external customers and vendors to resolve technical system issues, particularly those of moderate to complex nature. Proactively identifying and escalating project, business, and technical issues, logging them, and participating in their resolution are also key responsibilities. Adherence to all corporate policies, including the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, is expected.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience configuring and troubleshooting development and production environments.
• Minimum 2 years of Linux (RedHat) administration and troubleshooting experience.
• Minimum 1 year of Windows Server Administration experience.
• 1 to 2 years of Zabbix Administration experience (setup, tuning, maintenance).
• 1 to 2 years of Grafana Cloud Administration experience.
• Scripting experience in Bash and Python.
