Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer (Associate) to join our agile team in Chennai. As an integral member of Engineering, you will design solutions and implement end-to-end features using modern technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate within a highly skilled forward-thinking team on product development in an agile environment.
• Mentor members regarding development and testing methodologies.
• Actively participate in Agile processes, including peer-to-peer code reviews.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 7+ years of hands-on Java/J2EE & Spring Boot experience (Java 8/17 preferred, 21 a plus).
• Must have exposure to Microservices and REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented and Functional programming paradigms.
• Familiarity with design patterns, SQL, stored procedures, and frontend basics (HTML/CSS/JS/JQuery).

Demonstrate awareness in digital development strategy, Retail business models, Agile processes, Risk Management within the SDLC, and Regulatory/Business Conduct compliance.
