Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Associate Backend Engineer (Java) to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development of Microservice APIs within an Agile environment. You must possess strong administrative and development skills, capable of collaborating with product owners, database administrators, and architecture teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop robust REST and SOAP APIs using Java frameworks like Spring Boot.
• Create user stories, design test cases (JUnit), and execute comprehensive testing including performance tuning with JMeter.
• Manage code deployment across Docker-based environments such as Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Collaborate on technical audits, create high/low-level design documents, and contribute to project standards.
• Leverage Atlassian tools (Jira/GitHub) for CI/CD pipelines and agile practices like Scrum/Kanban.

Required Skills

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with relational databases (Oracle or Postgres).
• Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and Linux environments.
• Proficiency in version control systems like Git/ADO.
