Assistant Project Manager

NYSERDA, a pivotal force in New York's energy transformation, is seeking a proactive Assistant Project Manager for Program Investment Planning in Albany, NY. This role is instrumental in supporting the strategic development and execution of programmatic investments. The position involves meticulous spend tracking, identifying operational barriers and opportunities through comprehensive analysis and research, and contributing to the enhancement of planning processes. You will collaborate with NYSERDA program teams to define funding allocations and program descriptions for operating and investment plans. Responsibilities include participating in the creation of annual programmatic operating plans, analyzing public stakeholder feedback, preparing materials for the NYSERDA Board (including those related to the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative), and closely monitoring program spend rates with the Finance team. You will also contribute to developing and implementing improved processes for investment planning management, reporting, and public engagement, creating and maintaining tools to track the programmatic portfolio and funding sources. Excellent communication skills are essential for understanding team needs and delivering effective solutions, fostering a collaborative team environment.
