Assembler Developer – SDE I

About the Role

Join a high-performing team at CSG Systems, Inc., as a Software Development Engineer I. With 3-5 years of experience, you will contribute to designing, developing, and testing high-quality software products while collaborating with stakeholders under Agile principles.

• You will design, code, and test applications for assigned work items under guidance from senior developers.
• Debug and fix issues during development and support system troubleshooting activities.
• Analyze business or system requirements to implement low-complexity technical solutions.
• Support mainframe assembler development (Assembler/TPF) including debugging, testing, validation, and code reviews.

We Are Looking For

Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Key requirements include:

• 2-4 years of coding experience specifically in Mainframe Assembler or TPF.
• Familiarity with DB2 and file concepts, JCL, COBOL (advantageous), Java, Python (advantageous).
