Role Overview

LexisNexis Legal & Professional provides essential legal, regulatory, and business information alongside advanced analytics. We are currently seeking an entry-level Software Engineer I to join our prestigious Aspire Graduate Program.

Responsibilities

• Write and review detailed specifications for system components of simple complexity.
• Complete straightforward bug fixes efficiently.
• Under the guidance of senior engineers, successfully implement development processes, coding best practices, and conduct code reviews.
• Operate across various development environments (including Agile and Waterfall) while collaborating with key stakeholders.
• Resolve basic technical issues as they arise.
• Leverage AI-assisted and agentic development tools to accelerate software development, testing, debugging, and documentation under appropriate guidance.
• Apply AI-first development workflows while rigorously reviewing and validating AI-generated code for correctness, quality, security, and maintainability.
• Continuously learn and adopt emerging AI development tools as part of the software development lifecycle.
