Artificial Intelligence Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer with 4+ years of experience to design, build, and scale production-grade AI systems for our WhatsApp engagement platform. This role is ideal for someone who has moved beyond experimentation and possesses real-world experience taking AI/ML systems into production.

What You'll Own

• AI/ML & LLM Engineering: Design, develop, and deploy production-grade solutions including RAG pipelines, AI Agents, and intelligent automation workflows using OpenAI, Google Generative AI, etc.
• RAG & Vector Search: Build retrieval systems using Pinecone, Qdrant, or similar; optimize for latency, relevance, and cost with hybrid search techniques.
• AI Agents & Automation: Design agents capable of reasoning and tool usage while integrating securely with internal APIs and databases.
• Backend & AI Infrastructure: Build high-performance microservices using Python (FastAPI/Flask), MongoDB, Redis for caching, ensuring scalability and observability.

Must-Have Qualifications

You must have 4+ years of professional experience in AI/ML Engineering with strong proficiency in Python. You should have hands-on experience deploying production systems, building RAG pipelines, integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI/GCP), and working with vector databases.
