Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Engineer to join our team in Chennai on-site. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying the AI/ML models that power our university matching platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, preprocess, and manage structured and unstructured datasets relevant to student profiles.
• Experiment with algorithms, train, validate, and deploy machine learning models for recommendation engines.
• Optimize model performance and monitor live systems in collaboration with the engineering team.
• Work closely with product experts to translate user needs into scalable AI solutions that enhance accuracy and transparency.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL/NoSQL databases, and version control (Git).
• Familiarity with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Solid understanding of MLOps principles for deploying AI at scale.

Qualifications:

A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Experience with EdTech platforms and recommendation systems is highly beneficial. You must possess excellent analytical skills to interpret results and iterate on solutions effectively.
