AR Analyst

About the Role: Accounts Receivable Analyst

Johnson Controls is seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable (AR) Analyst to manage incoming payments and ensure the timely collection of outstanding invoices. This critical role involves closely monitoring the accounts receivable ledger, tracking overdue accounts, and performing detailed analysis of aging reports to identify late payments and potential credit risks. The AR Analyst will collaborate effectively with the finance team and other departments, including sales and customer service, to resolve discrepancies, address customer queries, and ensure efficient and accurate payment processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and send invoices to clients.
• Apply incoming payments to the appropriate accounts.
• Reconcile customer statements to ensure accuracy.
• Conduct collections activities to minimize bad debt and optimize cash flow.
• Provide up-to-date receivables data to support cash flow forecasting.
