AR analyst

Description

We are seeking an AR Analyst specializing in denial management and follow-up for our physician billing team located in Egmore, Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing denied claims, following up with insurance payers, and ensuring timely resolution to maximize revenue.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve denials and rejections.
• Follow up on outstanding claims to ensure timely payment.
• Prepare and submit appeals for denied claims based on the stipulated guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians and billing team to ensure accurate coding and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of denials, appeals, and follow-up actions taken.
• Generate reports on denial trends and suggest process improvements.

Skills and Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in accounts receivable, specifically in denial management and follow-up for physician billing.
• Strong understanding of medical billing processes and insurance claims.
• Proficient in using billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Salary

Salary: up to 4.5 lakhs per annum, matched according to previous salary and experience.
