About This Role

VOIS is seeking a Network Monitoring Engineer (Apprentice) for its Customer Services & Operations team in Bengaluru. This role offers foundational experience in real-time network monitoring, fault validation, and incident reporting within a large-scale global telecom environment.

What You Will Do

• Monitor customer networks to ensure adherence to SLAs.
• Perform initial fault diagnosis and validate network alarms using Cisco technologies.
• Report service-impacting incidents accurately to internal stakeholders and customers.
• Create and manage trouble tickets for specialist investigation teams.
• Maintain operational excellence to minimize downtime in a 24x7 shift environment.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's Engineering Degree or Diploma.
• Basic understanding of the OSI Model, TCP/IP Protocol Suite, and Routing/Switching concepts.
• Familiarity with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and Email applications.

Desired Experience

• Approximately 1 year in ISP/Telecom environments (preferred).
• Experience in a Network Operations Centre (NOC) is advantageous.
• Certifications like CCNA are desired but not mandatory for this apprentice role.
