VOIS is seeking a Network Monitoring Engineer (Apprentice) for our Customer Services & Operations team in Bangalore. Ideal for professionals with foundational networking knowledge, this role offers career-building opportunities within a global telecom environment.

Your Responsibilities:

• Monitor customer networks and elements to ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Perform initial fault diagnosis and validate network alarms in real-time.
• Report service-impacting incidents accurately to customers and internal stakeholders promptly.
• Create and manage trouble tickets for resolution by specialist technical teams.
• Collaborate with support functions, incident management, and first-line services.
• Maintain operational excellence to maximize network availability and minimize downtime.
• Ensure clear communication regarding faults and their impact on customers.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering.
• Basic networking knowledge, preferably with exposure to Cisco technologies.
• Familiarity with the OSI Model, TCP/IP Protocol Suite, and basic Routing/Switching concepts.
• Working knowledge of Windows OS, Internet Browsers, Microsoft Office, and Email applications.

Desired Experience:

• Approximately 1 year in ISP, Telecom, or Managed Services environments (Apprenticeship entry point).
• NOC experience is highly valued.
• CCNA certification preferred; Postgraduate qualifications beneficial.
