Key Job Responsibilities

• Apply machine learning and analytical techniques to create scalable solutions for business challenges.
• Analyze and extract relevant information from extensive historical Amazon business data to automate and optimize key processes.
• Design, develop, evaluate, and deploy innovative and highly scalable ML models.
• Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to implement real-time models.
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify problems and propose machine learning solutions.
• Establish scalable, efficient, and automated processes for large-scale data analysis, model development, validation, and maintenance.
• Proactively work with engineering teams and product managers to champion new algorithms and drive the production implementation of complex, large-scale ML models.
• Lead projects and mentor scientists and engineers in the application of ML techniques.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python, or a related language.
• Experience with SQL and an RDBMS (e.g., Oracle) or Data Warehouse.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing algorithms using both toolkits and custom-developed code.
• Publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals.
