Applied Scientist II

As part of the Machine Learning and Data Sciences team for India Consumer Businesses, your major responsibilities will include:

• Utilizing machine learning and analytical techniques to build scalable solutions for business challenges.
• Analyzing and extracting key information from extensive historical business data to automate and optimize core processes.
• Designing, developing, evaluating, and deploying innovative and highly scalable predictive learning models.
• Researching and implementing novel machine learning and statistical methodologies.
• Collaborating with software engineering teams to facilitate real-time model implementation and the creation of new features.
• Partnering with business stakeholders and operations staff to optimize various business operations.
• Establishing scalable, efficient, and automated processes for large-scale data analysis, model development, validation, and implementation.
• Mentoring fellow scientists and engineers in the application of ML techniques.

Basic Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience building models for business applications.
• A PhD or Master's degree.
• A record of patents or publications in top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
• Experience in areas including algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, or high-performance computing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with Unix/Linux environments.
• Experience in professional software development.
