About the Role

Join Alexa Sensitive Content Intelligence (ASCI) as an Applied Scientist-II on Amazon's Responsible AI (RAI) team. You will pioneer breakthrough solutions for Alexa+, developing safe, trustworthy systems using generative AI.

Your Mission

• Build AI safety systems protecting millions of customers daily from sensitive content including hate speech and profanity.
• Solve challenging Responsible AI problems ensuring LLMs provide truthful responses across cultures and languages.

What You'll Build

Pioneer frontier research solutions: train models that set new safety standards, design automated testing systems for vulnerabilities, create intelligent evaluation systems with human-level insight, build feedback mechanisms for complex conversations, and develop AI agents acting as a real-time production safety net.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end RAI solutions detecting false information and identifying security exploits using state-of-the-art NLP and computer vision.
• Mitigate AI safety risks early within multi-agent architectures maintaining human oversight.
• Partner with engineering to transform research into production-ready systems for global deployment.
