Gloroots AI is building next-generation matchmaking platforms and is seeking an Applied AI Engineer with expertise in Vision/GenAI. You will deploy advanced vision-language models to create a personalized, photorealistic user experience, directly impacting how millions of users represent themselves through real-time ML recommendation engines. This is a founding team role where your contributions will shape the future of human connection in the AI era.

Responsibilities:

• Build and deploy cutting-edge vision-language pipelines using Stable Diffusion, LoRA, CLIP, and BLIP for personalized user profile visuals.
• Fine-tune LoRA models to best represent users while maintaining identity integrity.
• Design scalable APIs for image generation, editing, and personalization.
• Collaborate with UX/design teams to integrate intuitive and delightful image-generation flows.
• Optimize models for mobile performance, fast inference, and cost efficiency.
• Work closely with product, backend, and ML researchers to productionize ideas.

Must-Have Criteria:

• Experience with computer vision, generative models, or deep learning.
• Experience with Stable Diffusion, LoRA training, and prompt engineering.
• Exposure to vision-language architectures like Flux, CLIP, BLIP.
• Proficient in PyTorch or equivalent ML frameworks.
• Strong understanding of image pipelines, dataset curation, and captioning.
• Experience deploying ML models on cloud-based services (e.g., Replicate, Hugging Face Spaces, GPUs).
• Proficient in writing production-ready Python, working with versioned models and real-time inference stacks.
• Passion for building beautiful, human-centered AI experiences.

Nice-to-Have:

• Prior experience with personalization, avatars, or face-preserving generative models.
• Contributions to open-source vision models or fine-tuning libraries.
• Experience in a startup or fast-paced product-focused team.
