Join Potpie AI as an Applied AI Engineer. We are pioneering developer tools for the age of generative AI in Bengaluru.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and productionize resilient multi-agent execution graphs and advanced retrieval pipelines (hybrid search, semantic chunking, re-ranking) built for deep reasoning over complex codebases.
- Engineer low-latency, high-concurrency asynchronous backend services to integrate LLM reasoning into developer workflows.
- Implement continuous evaluation harnesses including hallucination detection and task completion scoring, optimizing latency/cost trade-offs across proprietary APIs and fine-tuned models.
- Build end-to-end tracing and observability pipelines for non-deterministic agent behavior using OpenTelemetry and Langfuse/Arize.
- 2+ years of professional software development experience building high-concurrency backend services (Python, Go, or TypeScript).
- Hands-on experience deploying Generative AI and advanced agentic workflows into production environments in India.
- Expertise in agentic orchestration patterns like LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, LlamaIndex and vector search architectures.
- Strong fundamentals: distributed systems design, asynchronous programming, databases, caching, and clean API contracts.
