Full Job Description
Role: Application Support Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Application Support Engineer with 2-4 years of experience to provide essential technical assistance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure the efficient resolution of customer problems. This role is crucial for maintaining high service quality and ensuring customer satisfaction within our Noida operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 technical support for applications and systems.
- Monitor and manage support tickets, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Document technical solutions and contribute to the knowledge base for ongoing reference.
- Assist with product/release deployments, upgrades, and provide user training.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to resolve issues and drive process improvements.
Required Skillset:
- 2-4 years of experience in application support, specifically with Linux, Docker, and L2 support.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting tomcat applications.
- Understanding of network technologies including proxies, load balancers, LDAP, and Active Directory.
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with ticketing tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.) or a Master's in Computer Applications (MCA) is required.
Good to have Skills:
- Experience with Apache web servers / Reverse proxy and SSL.
- Proficiency in Bash scripting and CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred Skillset:
- ITIL certifications.
- Prior exposure to cloud platforms or scripting.
