As an Application Support Engineer in Chennai, you will be instrumental in resolving complex issues within critical business systems. Your role involves acting as a 'software detective,' meticulously identifying and fixing problems across various system components. You will collaborate with a team, analyze system performance, and ensure seamless application operation to support business objectives. Engaging with users to understand their challenges and implementing effective solutions to enhance system functionality and user experience will be a key part of your responsibilities. This position requires you to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and actively contribute to team discussions and problem-solving. You will also assist in documenting processes and solutions to build team knowledge and engage with stakeholders for continuous improvement. Essential skills include proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Document Management Systems like OnBase and Solarity, data technologies such as SSIS, Tableau, Informatica, Data Warehouse ETL, Power BI, and Business Intelligence Tools, as well as Data Engineering skills. A strong understanding of software troubleshooting, system performance monitoring, database management, and the ability to communicate technical information clearly are also required. A minimum of 2 years of experience in EMR is mandatory.
