Full Job Description
Join Indusface, a market-leading cybersecurity firm, and play a crucial role in securing critical Web, Mobile, and API applications for over 6,500 global customers. This is a consulting position requiring hands-on experience in security consulting and ethical hacking. You will conduct rigorous testing to identify system vulnerabilities, report findings to clients, and contribute to the enhancement of our security products by researching application exploitation techniques. Travel outside the local area may be expected.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on web and mobile applications for our clients, aiding them in strengthening their security posture.
- Conduct research on emerging vulnerabilities, attack vectors, exploits, tools, and industry trends to support service offerings.
- Collaborate with product engineering teams by identifying and demonstrating new exploitation techniques to inform the development of application firewall rules.
- Provide both offsite and on-site consulting services to clients.
- Serve as a primary point of escalation for assigned client engagements, managing open issues and acting as a key contact for customer concerns.
- Submit weekly activity reports as directed by management.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE), Master of Computer Applications (MCA), or Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on IT security, networking, or system integration.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven experience in application security, risk assessment, architecture design audits, and security source code reviews (White box/Black box/Grey box testing) for thin and thick-based applications.
- Familiarity with OWASP Application Security Verification Standard.
- Active participation in the Info Sec team and contribution to achieving team objectives.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to effectively interact with diverse internal staff and vendors.
