Application Security Analyst

Indusface, a leading application security SaaS company, is seeking an Application Security Analyst to join our team. This is a consulting role requiring project-oriented experience and a strong technical background in security consulting and ethical hacking. You will be instrumental in identifying system vulnerabilities through rigorous testing, documenting findings to help clients enhance their security posture, and researching application exploitation techniques to aid our engineering teams in building cutting-edge security products. Travel outside the local area is expected and will vary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for web and mobile applications, assisting clients in strengthening their security.
• Research emerging vulnerabilities, attack vectors, exploits, tools, and industry trends to enhance service offerings.
• Support product engineering by identifying and demonstrating new exploitation techniques and contributing to the development of application firewall rules.
• Provide both offsite and on-site consulting services to clients.
• Act as a primary point of contact for assigned client engagements, managing open issues and serving as an escalation point for customer concerns.
• Submit weekly activity reports as per management directives.

Candidate Profile:

• BE/MCA/MBA degree with experience in IT security, networking, or system integration.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proven experience in application security risk assessment, architecture design audits, and security reviews.
• Proficiency in White box, Black box, and Grey box testing methodologies, including security source code review for thin and thick-based applications.
• Familiarity with OWASP Application Security Verification Standard.
• Ability to actively contribute to team goals as part of the Info Sec team.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse internal staff and vendors.
• Experience: 2-5 years.
