Application Engineer

Innovatily is actively searching for a skilled Application Engineer specializing in Data Science, with extensive hands-on experience in Machine Learning and AI. This role is pivotal in driving data-informed decisions and developing advanced artificial intelligence solutions. The successful candidate will leverage their Python expertise to create innovative algorithms, predictive models, and sophisticated analytics. Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and fine-tuning Generative AI models, utilizing advanced techniques like large language models (LLMs) and GANs. You will build scalable Python code for the development, training, and deployment of Gen AI models across various applications, including natural language processing and computer vision. The role involves optimizing and customizing pre-trained Gen AI models (e.g., GPT, BERT, DALLE) through transfer learning and fine-tuning, and integrating these capabilities into production systems. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, staying abreast of AI advancements, and troubleshooting model performance issues are also crucial. You will develop tools and pipelines to streamline Gen AI workflows, document methodologies, and advocate for ethical AI practices. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field, with proven experience in Generative AI, large-scale machine learning frameworks, and deep learning. Strong proficiency in Python and libraries like NumPy, Pandas, and SciPy is essential, as is expertise in frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face Transformers. Experience with pre-trained models, data structures, algorithms, deep learning architectures, data visualization tools, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and Git is required. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are necessary for this Bangalore-based position.
