Application Engineer

Position Summary

As an Application Delivery Consultant in Bengaluru (Hybrid), you will work within bite-size Agile teams to deliver tailored solutions for modernizing legacy SQL-based systems. You'll migrate customers' relational Java applications to MongoDB's cloud-native architecture, leveraging GenAI tools and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Migrate legacy databases from Oracle/SQL Server/Teradata (including stored procedures) to MongoDB Atlas across AWS/Azure/GCP environments.
• Innovate on potential new Gen AI-based solutions for specific challenges during each project, in addition to applying existing playbooks and tooling for migration.
• Debug performance issues using tools like mongostat/mongotop (similar to Oracle AWR).
• Evaluate database drivers for compatibility with Java/Spring Boot applications.
