Application Developer

About This Role

Gallagher is seeking a skilled Application Developer to join their team. In this role, you will work independently on application development, support, and documentation within the company's benefits administration platform using strong C#/.Net and database skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Development: Write and develop code per user stories defined by our Business Analyst team. Collaborate with BAs and developers on new application development for the integrated benefits underwriting and management platform.

• Data Analysis: Conduct thorough data exploratory analysis before coding to identify potential issues not covered in specs.
• Maintenance & Enhancement: Work on existing applications regarding new enhancements, capabilities, and fixes. Design and optimize relational database schemas based on requirements.
  (Includes creating/analyzing views, stored procedures)
• Documentation: Update systems documentation to reflect changes in original requirement documents.
• Qualities: Bring a customer-centric, professional approach. Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills for reports. Ability to work both within a team as well as independently with little supervision.

Tech Stack & Requirements

We are looking for candidates proficient in C#, Microsoft .Net (.Net Framework/Core), ASP.Net MVC, WebAPI, RESTful APIs (Client<>Server), Bootstrap/jQuery, WPF, and MS SQL. Experience with Git/Bit Bucket is required.
