About the Role

As an Application Developer at Accenture, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and configuring applications to precisely meet intricate business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve close collaboration with diverse teams to deeply understand their needs, developing innovative solutions that align seamlessly with overarching business objectives, and ensuring applications are optimized for peak performance and user-friendliness.

You will actively engage in critical problem-solving activities, providing essential support and implementing enhancements for existing applications. A key responsibility is ensuring all development adheres strictly to best practices and organizational standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to function as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
• Collaborate with and manage the team to achieve project goals.
• Take ownership and be responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple cross-functional teams and contribute to pivotal decision-making processes.
• Provide effective solutions to problems impacting your immediate team and extending across multiple teams.
• Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions to elevate and enhance team capabilities.
• Monitor project progress diligently and ensure the timely delivery of application features.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must-Have Skills:
• Proficiency in SAP for Utilities Customer Financial Management (FICA) is essential.
• A strong understanding of modern application development methodologies.
• Proven experience with the integration of SAP modules and third-party applications.
• Familiarity with database management and data modeling techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve application issues efficiently.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience specifically in SAP for Utilities Customer Financial Management (FICA).
• This position is based at our Pune office.
• A 15-year full-time education is a mandatory requirement.
