About The Role
As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet specific business process and application requirements. A typical day involves collaborating with team members to understand project needs, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that applications are aligned with business objectives. You will engage in problem-solving discussions and contribute to the overall success of the projects you are involved in, while also focusing on continuous improvement and efficiency in application development.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Expected to perform independently and become a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
- Collaborate with data analysts, business intelligence analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements.
- Design and implement data warehousing solutions to enable efficient and effective data analysis and reporting.
- Design, develop, and maintain data infrastructure, databases, and data pipelines.
- Develop and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from/to various sources/targets.
- Implement and manage data security and access controls to protect data privacy and confidentiality.
Professional & Technical Skills
Must To Have Skills
- Proficiency in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- SQL and Python programming skills are highly desired.
Good to Have Skills
- AWS and Python.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake streams, tasks, Snowpipe, stored procedures, writing complex SQLs and Python scripts.
- Good understanding of various AWS services – AWS Lambda, AWS Glue, and AWS S3 will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Python will be an added advantage.
Additional Information
The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Snowflake Data Warehouse. A 15-year full-time education is required. Architect roles may also require proficiency in Snowflake Data Warehouse, with AWS and Python as good-to-have skills.
