Application Developer

We are seeking an Application Developer with expertise in Java, Oracle, and Angular to join our team in Chennai, India. This role involves full systems life cycle management, including analysis, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, and implementation of applications. You will contribute to component and data architecture design, technology planning, and testing for Application Development (AD) initiatives, ensuring alignment with business requirements.

Your responsibilities will include participating in application development project plans and integrations, collaborating with teams on emerging technologies, and providing knowledge and support for application development, integration, and maintenance. You will also contribute to department and project team decisions. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of full-stack development experience with Java, Oracle, and Angular. Experience with DevOps and Agile project management is a plus.

We are looking for a developer who can plan, develop, and manage information software, applications, systems, and networks. This includes performing systems analysis and design, developing moderate to highly complex applications, creating application documentation, producing integration builds, and providing maintenance and support. You will be instrumental in ensuring UPS's business needs are met through continuous upgrades and the development of new technical solutions.

A Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field is preferred.
