Application Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimize demanding features within existing software for enhanced efficiency and user experience.
• Adhere to agile software development methodologies throughout the development lifecycle.
• Engage in all stages of software development, including requirements gathering, architecture, design, implementation, code review, and deployment.
• Integrate effectively into a global, multicultural software development team operating across multiple sites.
• Provide support for troubleshooting technical issues encountered in development and production environments.
• Have opportunities for direct customer interaction to understand needs, facilitating software improvements and bug resolutions.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software application development.
• Over 3 years of hands-on experience in Python and JavaScript development.
• Proficiency with a Widget Framework for Desktop applications, with a preference for Qt.
• Experience in developing with JavaScript Frameworks, preferably Angular.
• Familiarity with REST clients and servers.
• A strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and SQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices and version control systems, specifically Git, for code repository management, branching, and team collaboration.
• A genuine passion for technology, a commitment to staying current with the latest web development trends, and the ability to apply emerging technologies to product development.
• A collaborative spirit, a dynamic approach, and a positive attitude for teamwork.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent expertise in software and web application development. A Master's degree is considered an advantage.
