Application Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking an Application Developer for a paid, remote internship lasting 3 months. This role is perfect for freshers or those new to the field of software engineering who want to build their portfolio while earning.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing and developing robust software applications tailored to specific project requirements.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code using relevant programming languages and frameworks.
• Develop and integrate new features, APIs, and third-party services into existing systems.
• Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) to store, retrieve, update, and manage application data efficiently.
• Create responsive and user-friendly interfaces for diverse devices.
• Test applications rigorously to identify bugs, errors, and performance bottlenecks.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues effectively to implement timely solutions.
• Integrate frontend components with backend services using modern architectural patterns.
• Leverage Git and version-control practices to manage source code and streamline development workflows.
• Optimize applications for peak performance, reliability, and usability.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of code, technical approaches, and project progress.
• Collaborate with remote team members to complete assigned tasks and deliverables on time.

Requirements:

• Suitable for freshers with an interest in application development or related fields like Computer Science.
• Basic understanding of programming concepts, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and at least one language such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, etc.
• Familiarity with databases and SQL/NoSQL concepts is beneficial.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and JSON formats is advantageous.
• Understanding of frontend or backend frameworks adds value to the candidate profile.
• Basics in Git and version control systems are helpful for managing development workflows.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies, debugging techniques, and error resolution strategies.
• Demonstrates strong logical reasoning, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new technologies quickly.
• Possesses good written and verbal communication skills essential for remote collaboration.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while managing deadlines responsibly.
