Job Description: Application Developer - Full Stack Development

Rockwell Automation is seeking a talented and passionate Full Stack Software Engineer to join our agile capability team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver reliable, scalable platforms for our key systems and services. You will have the opportunity to craft cutting-edge engineering and product configuration solutions that deliver significant value to our customers.

Our team utilizes modern front-end technologies including JavaScript, TypeScript, and ReactJS with Redux. For back-end development, we leverage ASP.Net Web API, C#, SQL, and Azure cloud services. You will report to the Team Lead - IT and work in a hybrid capacity from our Bengaluru, India location.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deliver scalable full‑stack applications and services.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to build high‑quality software solutions.
• Develop front‑end applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS, Redux, Thunk, HTML, and CSS frameworks.
• Build and maintain backend services using ASP.NET Web API, C#, .NET Core, and SQL.
• Work within an Agile development environment.
• Ensure code quality through thorough reviews and automated testing.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues effectively.
• Adapt to new technologies and evolving business needs.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 4–8 years of strong full‑stack development experience.
• Front‑end expertise: JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Redux, Thunk, HTML, CSS frameworks.
• Back‑end expertise: C#, .NET, .NET Core, ASP.NET Web API, SQL Server.
• 3+ years of experience with Azure DevOps / GitHub Enterprise (Git), TFS.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with the ability to approach challenges from multiple angles and analyze solutions.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• Experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) using C++, C#, or Java.
• Experience building automated test frameworks.
• Experience with Azure PaaS and SQL.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps pipelines and CI/CD practices.
• Infrastructure‑as‑code experience with Terraform.
