Full Job Description
As an Application Developer in Chennai, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and configuring applications to meet critical business process and application requirements. Your daily responsibilities will involve close collaboration with stakeholders to define needs, developing innovative and effective solutions, and ensuring applications are optimized for performance and user experience. You will actively participate in testing and debugging to guarantee flawless application functionality, while consistently identifying and implementing improvements for efficiency in the development lifecycle.
Your role extends to being a Subject Matter Expert (SME), guiding and managing the team to achieve project goals. You will be responsible for team decisions and will engage with multiple cross-functional teams, contributing to key strategic decisions. A significant part of your role will involve problem-solving for your immediate team and extending support across various teams. You will also facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions to elevate team capabilities and cultivate a culture of continuous learning. Monitoring project progress and providing regular updates to stakeholders will be crucial to ensure alignment with overarching business objectives.

- Proficiency in the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Strong understanding of data integration and ETL processes.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms and services.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Scala.
- Ability to work with large datasets and perform in-depth data analysis.
Additional Information:
- Minimum 5 years of experience specifically in the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform is required.
- This position is based in Chennai.
- A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is a prerequisite.
