Application Developer

As an Application Developer based in Chennai, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and configuring applications to meet critical business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve close collaboration with diverse teams to deeply understand their needs, subsequently developing innovative solutions that align with overarching business objectives. A key part of your role will be ensuring applications are optimized for peak performance and user usability. You will also actively engage in complex problem-solving activities, providing essential support and enhancements to existing applications, while rigorously adhering to best practices and organizational standards in all development efforts.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), fostering collaboration and guiding the team towards efficient execution.
• Take ownership of team decisions and strategic direction.
• Engage with multiple cross-functional teams and contribute significantly to key decision-making processes.
• Develop and implement solutions to address immediate team challenges and broader organizational issues.
• Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions to continuously enhance team capabilities and expertise.
• Monitor project progress diligently, ensuring the timely delivery of application features and milestones.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Must-Have Skills:

• Demonstrated proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
• Solid understanding of application design principles and robust development methodologies.
• Proven experience with database management and advanced optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with integration tools and methods specific to SAP applications.
• Exceptional ability to troubleshoot and resolve application issues efficiently and effectively.

Additional Information:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience specifically in SAP ABAP Development for HANA is required.
