Application Developer

We are seeking an experienced Application Developer to join our team in Chennai. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications that precisely meet evolving business process and application requirements. Your day-to-day activities will involve close collaboration with diverse teams to deeply understand their needs, develop robust solutions, and ensure all applications are strategically aligned with overarching business objectives. You will actively participate in problem-solving initiatives, contribute to team discussions, and play a pivotal role in project success by delivering high-quality applications that significantly enhance operational efficiency and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in relevant areas.
• Collaborate with and guide teams in performing development tasks.
• Take ownership of team decisions and their outcomes.
• Engage with multiple cross-functional teams and contribute to critical decision-making processes.
• Provide effective solutions to complex problems for your immediate team and across other teams.
• Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions to elevate the capabilities of the team.
• Monitor project progress closely to ensure the timely delivery of application features.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in BlueYonder Space & Floor Planning.
• Strong understanding of application development methodologies.
• Experience with the integration of applications with existing systems.
• Familiarity with user interface design principles and best practices.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with A&D Aftermarket.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A minimum of 7.5 years of professional experience, with a significant portion focused on BlueYonder Space & Floor Planning.
• Completion of 15 years of full-time education is mandatory.
• This role is based in our Chennai office.
