Application Developer

We are seeking an Application Developer Senior Analyst proficient in the C language to join our team in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in standard programming procedures and subject matter knowledge to contribute to subsystem areas, working according to approved specifications. You will be responsible for investigating, developing, and implementing technical solutions, often requiring objectivity and creativity when faced with less detailed work assignments.

This position requires a strong understanding of current technologies and methodologies, combined with business subject matter knowledge to develop effective technical solutions. You will be expected to maintain, modify, and support systems and third-party components, ensuring data integrity and system stability through thorough unit testing and troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for learning about manufacturing, tire concepts, and the IT technologies integral to Goodyear's manufacturing operations. Familiarity with languages and tools such as PHP, PL/SQL, SQL, ActiveMq/Camel, C, ExtJs, Linux, C# .NET, containers (Docker/Podman), version control (GitHub, CVS), configuration as code (Ansible), Shell Scripting, build pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub), and artifact repositories (Nexus) is highly desirable.

We are looking for candidates with experience in at least two of the following areas: C, PHP, SQL, C# .NET, JavaScript/Framework, and containers. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting complex issues, developing innovative solutions, writing and maintaining comprehensive documentation, and collaborating with stakeholders to understand and address business needs. You will also be expected to expand your knowledge base and the application of current information technologies within Goodyear.

Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or a related discipline, along with 4-5 years of experience applying current information technology to specific business areas. Sponsorship and relocation assistance are not available for this position.
