Mobile App Developer (Android & iOS) - Banking & Fintech

Softmint Digital Services is seeking a skilled Mobile App Developer to design, develop, and enhance secure and scalable mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms. This role focuses on building high-performance, user-centric mobile apps within the banking and fintech domains, handling sensitive financial data and transactions.

Key responsibilities include implementing banking-grade security standards such as authentication, authorization, and encryption, alongside secure API integration. The developer will collaborate with product, UI/UX, and backend teams to deliver seamless digital banking experiences and integrate core banking APIs, payment gateways, KYC modules, and third-party financial services. Performance optimization, reliability, and compliance with industry standards are crucial. The role also involves conducting code reviews, debugging, testing, and managing app releases for Google Play Store and Apple App Store, while staying updated with banking regulations, fintech trends, and mobile security best practices.

Candidate Profile - Banking / Fintech Focus

The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience in Android Native (Kotlin/Java) and iOS (Swift) development. Prior experience in banking, fintech, payments, or financial applications is highly preferred. A solid understanding of secure app architecture, data protection, and compliance standards is essential. Experience with REST APIs, JSON, OAuth, JWT, Firebase, or similar services is required. Familiarity with payment systems, UPI, wallets, transaction flows, and audit logging is beneficial. Proficiency in secure coding practices, performance optimization, scalability, and Git collaborative development workflows is expected. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and an ownership mindset are important. This is a full-time, long-term engagement.
