Android Middleware Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Android Middleware Engineer to join our global automotive technology company specializing in connected mobility and infotainment solutions. You will work on developing innovative platforms with leading automotive customers.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, integrate, and maintain Android Automotive / Android Middleware components for digital cockpit systems.
• Work directly on the Android framework and middleware layers embedded in infotainment solutions.
• Develop and integrate essential Android services, system components, and APIs.
• Collaborate closely with HAL, framework, application, and hardware teams to ensure end-to-end feature integration.
• Analyze and resolve complex issues related to system performance, stability, and integration within the vehicle environment.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute technical solutions for next-gen mobility platforms.
• Debug intricate issues using Android logs, dumps, traces, and advanced debugging tools (ADB, logcat, dumpsys).
• Spearhead software integration, validation efforts, and production issue resolution across cross-functional teams including hardware and system integration specialists.
