Android Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Android Engineer with 2 to 4 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Ahmedabad. This role is crucial in building and maintaining high-quality Android applications that offer superior user experiences. You will be instrumental in the design, development, testing, and ongoing enhancement of our mobile applications.

Key responsibilities include designing and developing advanced Android applications utilizing Kotlin or Java, collaborating closely with product and design teams to translate user requirements into functional features, and writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code. You will also be responsible for identifying and resolving bugs, optimizing app performance, and ensuring seamless functionality across a diverse range of Android devices and versions. Staying abreast of the latest Android development trends and tools is essential. This position involves close collaboration with backend developers and QA teams, as well as managing the publication and updates of applications on the Google Play Store.

Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, coupled with 2 to 4 years of practical experience in Android app development. A strong command of the Android SDK, Kotlin/Java, and Android Studio is required. Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and popular third-party libraries such as Retrofit and Glide is expected. Proficiency in version control systems like Git and a solid understanding of Material Design principles and mobile UI/UX best practices are essential. Excellent problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and strong communication and teamwork skills are vital for success in this role.
