Android Developer - Gurugram

Redian Software is seeking a skilled Android Developer to join their team in Gurugram. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining robust Android applications using Java and Kotlin. You will be responsible for creating modular and reusable frameworks, handling resource files, and generating AAR files. The ideal candidate will write clean, efficient, and secure code, adhering to best practices for secure communication, data storage, and code obfuscation. Collaboration with UX/UI designers and backend teams is crucial for feature implementation and performance optimization. Responsibilities also include testing and debugging code to ensure robustness, security, and performance, as well as continuously monitoring and improving app security practices like input validation, secure APIs, encryption, and sensitive data handling. Keeping updated with the latest Android framework advancements, SDK tools, and security practices is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain robust Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
• Create modular and reusable frameworks and libraries.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency with Android SDK and Android framework.
• Expertise in Java and Kotlin programming languages.
• Experience with Android Studio and Gradle build systems.
• Deep knowledge of secure coding practices, including SQLCipher, OAuth2, HTTPS, and ProGuard/R8 obfuscation.
• Familiarity with architectural patterns like MVVM, Clean Architecture, and dependency injection frameworks (Dagger/Hilt).
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs, third-party SDKs, and handling asynchronous workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills for memory management, performance bottlenecks, and concurrency issues.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies (unit, integration, UI tests) and CI/CD pipelines.
