Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Android Developer to take ownership of building and scaling India's premier Android parenting app. In this role, you will be instrumental in the full software development lifecycle, from initial concept to final deployment, creating high-performance, scalable native Android solutions that will be utilized by millions of parents. We are looking for an individual with a strong ownership mindset, a deep care for user experience, a commitment to writing clean and maintainable code, and a passion for staying abreast of the latest Android technologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong capacity for learning are essential.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in Native Android App Development.
- Strong expertise in Kotlin, including advanced concepts, with a solid understanding of Java OOPs principles.
- Proficiency in Android app architecture, app lifecycle management, RoomDB, SQLite, and Firebase Crash Analytics.
- Experience with unit testing, and a strong grasp of UI/UX principles.
- Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose, Android Profiler, and network monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with app analytics tools such as MoEngage, Clevertap, App Annie, or similar.
- A strong understanding of App Store Optimization (ASO) principles.
- Proven experience in overcoming technical challenges, including notification delivery and device compatibility issues, particularly with Chinese OEM devices.
- Demonstrated experience in deploying application releases through the Google Play Console.
