Robotics Engineer - ROS Expertise Needed in Gurgaon

Shunya Ekai Technologies is seeking a talented Robotics Engineer to join our expanding team in Gurgaon, India. If you have a passion for robotics and a strong understanding of ROS 1 and ROS 2, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Implement ROS packages and algorithms for mapping, localization, sensor fusion, and navigation.
• Demonstrate intermediate knowledge of Robotics, Robotic Operating Systems (ROS1, ROS2), multi-threaded applications, SLAM, and VSLAM.
• Experience with LIDAR and Depth cameras is advantageous.
• Possess strong knowledge of Gazebo, URDF Models, Manipulation, Motion Planning, and Robot Navigation.
• Hands-on experience with hardware such as motors, encoders, drivers, 8/16/32-bit microcontrollers (At-mega 8, Arduino (At-mega 320P)), and single-board computers like Raspberry Pi.
• Familiarity with communication protocols including SPI, I2C, UART, TCP/IP, MQTT, and HTTP.
• Proficiency in Python/C++ or other scripting languages, image/video processing, and machine learning/deep learning algorithms.
• Effectively communicate technical ideas to diverse audiences.
• Collaborate effectively with engineers across different departments.
• Solid understanding of mathematics relevant to robotics, including Probability, Algebra, and Calculus.
• Expertise in ROS2, ROS1, Motion Planning, and Navigation Stacks.
• Knowledge of Electrical Hardware (Motors, Drivers, Controllers, Arduino).
• Computer Vision and Machine Learning skills are a plus, though not compulsory.
• Excellent knowledge of robotics-related sensors.
• Proficiency in Python and C/C++.
• Minimum of 1 year of working experience as a Robotics Engineer.
