We are seeking a skilled Android Developer to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Android application development using Java and possess practical experience with fundamental Android capabilities, including UI design and layout.

Responsibilities:

• Develop robust Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
• Implement UI designs and layouts adhering to Android best practices.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, SQLite databases, Payment Gateways, and GPS Maps.
• Manage the app publishing process on the Google Play Store.
• Adhere to technology best practices within an agile development framework.
• (Advantageous) Possess practical knowledge of IT training operations.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in UI and Java development for Android applications.
• 1 year of experience with MVVM architecture and Kotlin.
• Strong proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving.
• Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) concepts and Core Java.
• Experience with Android SDK, Java/Kotlin, RxJava/Coroutine, and offline-first strategies (including SQLite, MySQL, or similar).
• Familiarity with Android architecture components: Room, LiveData, ViewModel, and MVVM.
• Expertise in integrating RESTful web services.
• Knowledge of Firebase and Google Play services.
• Experience with version control systems like GitHub and Bitbucket.
