About the Role: We are seeking a passionate Software Development Engineer (SDE-1) to join our mobile development team in Bengaluru/Bangalore. You will be instrumental in creating exceptional Android applications, working closely with product managers, designers, and senior engineers to deliver outstanding user experiences and robust mobile functionality.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain features for Android applications using Kotlin or cross-platform technologies.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to interpret requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Uphold high code quality and best practices in modularization, reusability, and maintainability, guided by senior engineers.
• Implement comprehensive unit and integration tests to guarantee code stability and reliability.
• Identify and resolve bugs, optimizing application performance across various devices and Android versions.
• Actively participate in code reviews and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of development processes.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends, tools, and technologies in mobile development.

Qualifications:

• A solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and data structures.
• 1-2 years of practical experience with native Android development technologies such as Kotlin or Java.
• Proficiency in working with RESTful APIs, JSON, and client-server communication.
• Experience utilizing Git for version control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent debugging capabilities.
• A proactive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow within a dynamic environment.
