Android Developer - Pune

We are seeking a skilled Android Developer with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our team in Pune. This role involves translating designs into high-quality code, building and maintaining performant, reusable, and reliable Kotlin applications, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and bugs, and contributing to code quality and automation.

Responsibilities:

• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
• Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Kotlin code.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of MVVM, Jetpack Compose, and other Jetpack libraries.
• In-depth understanding of the Android SDK, different Android versions, and handling diverse screen sizes.
• Familiarity with connecting Android applications to back-end services via RESTful APIs.
• Expertise in Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Proven experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with additional sensors such as Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and Wi-Fi.
• Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and available libraries for common tasks.
• Familiarity with cloud messaging APIs and push notification implementation.
• Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines.
• Proficient in using code versioning tools like Git and Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with continuous integration practices.
