About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for translating designs into high-quality, performant Kotlin code, building and maintaining reusable Android applications. This role involves identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and bugs, and ensuring high standards of code quality and automation.

Responsibilities

• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
• Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Kotlin code
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of MVVM, Compose, and other Jetpack components
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and handling various screen sizes
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs for connecting Android applications to back-end services
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Familiarity with additional sensors like Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and Wi-Fi
• Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and available libraries
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
• Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools like Git and Azure DevOps
• Familiarity with continuous integration
