Android App Developer

DigitalXNode is seeking a motivated Android App Developer to join our dynamic team in Delhi, India. In this full-time, onsite role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated Android applications. You'll collaborate closely with our talented design, backend, and QA departments to craft user-centric, scalable, and high-performance mobile solutions, ensuring seamless functionality and continuous product enhancement. This position is ideal for individuals with 1 to 4 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust Android mobile applications.
• Produce clean, efficient, and well-documented code using Java or Kotlin.
• Identify and resolve application bugs, enhancing overall performance and stability.
• Partner with designers to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces (UI/UX).
• Integrate REST APIs and backend services into mobile applications.
• Conduct thorough testing and address issues prior to application release.
• Liaise with QA and backend teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Manage application deployment on the Google Play Store and oversee subsequent updates.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and fellow developers.
• Stay abreast of emerging Android technologies and proactively enhance professional skills.

Required Skills

• Proficient knowledge of Java or Kotlin programming languages.
• Proven experience in developing Android applications.
• Familiarity with Android SDK, Android Studio, and associated development tools.
• A foundational understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON data formats.
• Experience integrating backend services within mobile applications.
• Prior experience with publishing apps on the Google Play Store is highly advantageous.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Candidates possessing Android development certifications or a strong portfolio of project experience will be strongly considered.
