Analyst/Senior Analyst

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Analyst or Senior Data Analytics professional (1-2.5 years experience) to join the Financial Research group in Hyderabad, India.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Data Stewardship: Track and maintain corporate actions data for companies across global markets, ensuring accuracy that supports real-time trading and investment research workflows.
• Analytical Impact: Quantify the effect of corporate events on stock prices, focusing on critical event dates and terms to support valuation models.
• Data Quality & Validation: Validate inputs from multiple sources to ensure data integrity and create value-added analyses that drive investment decisions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Trading Desks, Technology teams (Front Office), and global colleagues to deliver reliable corporate actions data for quantitative and discretionary strategies.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and share knowledge through mentoring within a collegial environment.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for candidates with attention to detail who can handle market-sensitive data. The ideal candidate will hold a Master's degree in Finance or an equivalent discipline, combined with 1-2.5 years of experience in corporate actions, middle office operations, securities operations, or financial research.

• Essential Skills: Deep understanding of how corporate actions impact market prices; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis techniques; familiarity with basic Unix/Linux environments;
• Preferred Skills: Experience with vendor platforms like Bloomberg, S&P Capital IQ (CapIQ), Reuters, or ICE; exposure to SQL, Python, automation tools, or AI applications.
