Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking an Analyst, Network Operations to support our global production network infrastructure. This role encompasses proactive monitoring, incident and problem management, operational readiness for new services, change implementation, service requests, and process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Incident Management: Conduct proactive checkouts and monitoring to prevent or mitigate service outages. Perform troubleshooting and fault isolation to restore critical services efficiently.
  
• Problem Management: Develop solutions based on case study evaluations, including creating root cause flow charts and optimizing troubleshooting procedures to accelerate recovery times.
• Operational Readiness for New Services: Execute pre-production deployment checklists. Ensure updated management of network components, perform proactive health routines, validate service dependencies, and confirm staff competency in established recovery procedures.
  
• Change Management & Configuration Implementation: Coordinate change requests with the Change Advisory Board (CAB) and conduct periodic quality reviews with Engineering teams. Implement assigned tasks and support Network Engineering deployments.
• Service Requests, Maintenance & Support: Execute analysis or support requests. Represent strategic initiatives such as vendor service level reviews, Asset Management, and Capacity Management. Coordinate proactive maintenance to ensure infrastructure health.
  
• Process Improvement: Own specific tasks assigned by management aimed at delivering operational improvements across technologies, processes, tools, or services.

Daily Activities

• Perform monitoring for new events and open incidents.
• Execute all levels of routine network analysis.
• Coordinate hot hands and activities with vendors.
• Interact directly with advanced-level engineering support teams.
• Develop, test, and propose solutions for the knowledge base.
