Full Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Analyst to join our team in Navi Mumbai. This role focuses on managing back-office and middle-office processes for financial institutions. You will be involved in various stages of the client and product lifecycle, including KYC, reference data management, legal documentation, loan processing, portfolio and system reconciliations, pre and post-settlements, brokerage functions, drafting, trade support, corporate actions, and tax operations. Key responsibilities include data capture, cataloging, processing, system inputs and updates, reconciliations, settlements, and fund transfers. The role requires preparing reports using MS Excel and may involve external communication with agents, counterparties, and clients via phone or email to resolve process-related queries and discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and escalate risks, promptly reporting outstanding issues to clients.
- Perform various trade support activities across the Trade Lifecycle, including Trade Confirmation matching, Trade Pre-Settlements support, and Front office to back-office reconciliation of trade positions.
- Generate reports and manage settlements of cash flows from trading events (e.g., Interest or Premium).
- Handle operations for Syndicated Loans and Corporate action setup and execution.
- Manage other capital market operational tasks beyond Trade Lifecycle support, including Reference Data support and Regulatory reporting (e.g., SDR, KYC, various front-office and back-office reconciliations).
- Gain proficiency in understanding and managing a diverse range of financial products such as Equity Securities and Derivatives, Interest Rates Swaps, FX Spot, Options, Futures, Credit Derivatives Swaps, Commodities Derivatives, and Fixed Income products (e.g., Corporate and Treasury Bonds).
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.Com, BBA, BBM, BCA) or Master’s Degree (M.Com, MBA, PGDM).
- 0 to 2 years of experience in investment banking operations, with exposure to project, people, process, and client management.
- Basic understanding of finance, the trade lifecycle, investment banking, and derivatives.
- Strong logical and quantitative skills to derive insights from data.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to resolve issues promptly.
- Proficiency in planning, organizing, and managing time effectively.
